5pm PT / 6pm MT / 7pm CT / 8pm ET

Note- we’ve changed the date from November 5th to November 9th! We have learned that on 11/5 there will be other mass calls to process the election results, run by important organizations in the ecosystem. We are moving our call to Monday evening 11/9 so as not to compete. We hope you will join us on 11/9 to connect as the SR community, process the results and talk about what happens next.

You’re invited to join Singing Resistance group leaders for a monthly call focused on connection, community and culture.

RSVP: https://tinyurl.com/SRcommcall1109

If you join us, you will:

  • Meet your peers: Through breakouts and story shares, you’ll directly connect with other SR group leaders.
  • Learn songs: A song leader will teach songs that you’ll get to share with your community.
  • Feel inspired: Connect to other singers who are committed to resisting authoritarianism while replacing our dominant culture of disconnection and domination with a culture of belonging and solidarity.
  • Practice SR culture: Learn from the song leader how they embody SR culture, while being in the practice yourself with your peers.
  • Get the latest announcements: You’ll leave with updates from SR organizers to share with your group.

You’ll leave this interactive call with tools, ideas, and ways of being you can use immediately in your local actions. You can expect to be facilitated by an incredible songleader! If it’s feasible, join the call with other members of your local group and lift your voices together.

This call is for anyone who is organizing with Singing Resistance. So, whether your pod is just getting formed (or even having challenges forming!), or you’re already in a rhythm of actions, you are welcome here. These calls will be inclusive for any leader/organizer and we hope you’ll join us.

This is a 90-minute virtual call facilitated by an SR organizer. It will have an interactive format, so to the extent that you are willing and able, please come with your camera on and be ready to participate in breakout conversations and to use interactive feedback tools. (If those are blocks for you, please come anyway; it’s okay to join as you are.)

The calls will use a similar agenda each time. However, the participants, content, songs, and conversation will be different. You’re invited to join all of the calls as is feasible for you. Please RSVP at the link in advance.

We look forward to seeing you on the call!
