Facilitated by Freedom Trainers, in partnership with Singing Resistance
This regime wants to keep people from voting so they can control our elections and declare themselves the winners, no matter the will of the people. And racism is at the core of their strategy: by keeping Black and Brown people from voting, they can seize more power. Singing Resistance says: Hands off our vote! The threats we face a wide ranging — ICE at the polls, no mail in voting, voter roll purges, ID requirements and more. We know this administration has followed up on their word, so we know our communities need to prepare.
To defend elections we need a broad range of groups collectively planning and preparing ourselves for noncooperation if and when lines are crossed. This training will cover the threats we face to our elections, what’s at stake, and what Singing Resistance groups can do about it.
We encourage you to attend all 3 trainings in SR’s election defense series!
