The Peace Poets are five brothers from The Bronx who believe in you. They are a Hip Hop and Spoken Word crew who have composed many of the most widely sung original songs used by those fighting for Migrant Justice, Racial Justice and Climate Justice over the last two decades. Today, you can hear The Peace Poets songs from the marches of Minnesota to the fields of South Florida, from Land Protectors in South America to communities fighting for survival on the border. They are honored to write songs, not just for the movement, but WITH the movement, leading song writing sessions to tap into our collective genius and infuse our movements with the magic and power of spirit and music. They are humbled to serve you and sing with you. Always.
It's the Early Vote
We got it, in our pocket, it's the key to our victory,
its the early vote, so we all can go,
mobilize our community
if you're Dr. King's Dreamers, if you're the holders of hope,
we need all the believers, to act like we know...
